Built for school copy rooms
Your copy room team
should only press Print.
Teachers submit from a portal or by email. Paper, colour, duplex, staples and lamination are resolved automatically from your own machines — before the job ever reaches the queue.
- Works with
- Your existing printers
- Install footprint
- One outbound agent
- Setup per machine
- Zero forms to fill
Three steps, and two of them are automatic.
- 01
A teacher submits
From the portal, or by emailing the copy room address they already use. Attachments become the job. They pick a preset — not a driver dialog.
- 02
Settings resolve themselves
Your preset plus the real capabilities of the chosen machine produce a complete, validated setting set. Conflicts surface in the portal, while the teacher can still fix them.
- 03
The tech presses Print
The job arrives already correct. Trays, duplex, staple position, copies. Lamination and binding appear as their own tracked steps.
Nobody fills in a form describing your printers.
KyberCopy asks each machine what it can do and stores the answer. Trays, media sizes, staple positions, punch, booklet, colour modes — read from the device itself, refreshed nightly.
Then an administrator writes presets once, in the language your school already uses. Class Set. Parent Letter. Laminated Sign. Teachers pick one. That is the whole form.
- Capabilities discovered over IPP, never hand-entered
- Presets validated against the machine before submit
- Settings a printer silently ignores get recorded and stopped
- Lamination, binding and cutting tracked as real queue steps

Your printers stay on your network.
Campus printers should not be reachable from the internet, and KyberCopy does not ask them to be.
Nothing is exposed
A small agent runs on a machine you already own and makes outbound connections only. No port forwards, no inbound firewall rules, no VPN.
Tenants isolated in the database
Separation is enforced by row-level security in Postgres, not by application code remembering to filter. A query that forgets returns nothing.
Jobs are never printed twice
Pickup uses a leased claim. If the agent or the server dies mid-job, the lease expires and the work returns to the queue exactly once.
See it running on your own printers.
We will connect KyberCopy to one machine in your copy room and print a real job with real finishing. That demo takes about twenty minutes.
